Trabuco's Gold
Trabuco's Gold
Leon Trabuco, a Mexican millionaire, decided to buy up a ton
of gold in the 1930's. Trabuco and a few partners decided they would
purchase 16 tons of gold, and then sell it during the great depression
when he hoped the prices would soar. It turns out, the US made a new law
prohibiting the sale of private gold, and Trabuco was unable to
continue his plan. It turns out, his partners suspiciously died and
Trabuco followed. There is no trace of the hidden gold, but it is
suspected to originally be located in New Mexico.
